I know no one will probably see this, but this song is what gives me power to hold on and persevere and maybe my story will motivate someone: I wanted to get into med school and failed the entrance exam twice, both due to a lack of mental health, deaths of loved ones, self-sabotage and a huge lack of support. The second time all my friends got in and guess what, I'm literally the last one standing. I was the one who supported them and told them they could do it yet no one cared for me and I drowned in a vicious cycle of not feeling worthy, being overwhelmed by depression and self-hate caused by my lack of confidence. I failed the second time by 20 percent and I'm yet to try again, my last try, where I will put in all my efforts. Whatever life has hit you with, you're not weak and you deserve your own happiness. Don't depend on others, if it must be be on your own, let us do everything today so we won't regret a thing decades from now or even 5 years from now. Don't let mental health dictate your life, it isn't worth it, life goes by in a blink of an eye, take it from a student who feels like a failure because of that.

Em’s words still hold weight and truth of his sacrifice. Even Em himself gave ode to Dre who had to crawl before ‘Em walked. Gave his respect to him! Rappers today lost touch with that very concept. The reason why I think he still raps today to remind people where they came from and the history of it. And has yet to pass on he torch to someone who deserving of it. Thus the lyric, “And rappers, how can we be on the same level now When I gotta look down and see these clowns that are on the ground? Bitch, I got clouds beneath me.” I think once these arrogant rappers realize they need to humble themselves. And work just as hard as Em did.
