Hutch is a nobody. As an overlooked and underestimated father and husband, he takes life's indignities on the chin and never rocks the boat. But when his daughter loses her beloved kittycat bracelet in a robbery, Hutch hits a boiling point no one knew he had. What happens when a pushover finally pushes back? Hutch flips from regular dad to fearless fighter by taking his enemies on a wild ride of explosive revenge. The writer of John Wick showcases Emmy® winner Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) as fans have never seen him before: an average family man who becomes a lethal vigilante unlike any ordinary action hero.

Fun fact: Bob said in an interview that training he went through for this film saved his life when he had a heart attack during season 6 filming. His heart was strong and the vessels were wide enough to stay alive.

Let’s all appreciate how he saved the last guy while his friends are dead. Respect.

As a healthcare professional, I like how Hutch gives the guy a tracheostomy at the end of the scene after smashing his trachea with the metal pole. Shows class and real concern for humanity even through all the violence. Good show Bob Odenkirk.

I gotta say, this is the most realistic fight scene I've seen in a movie really. At least when it comes to groups. There's times when there's "one at a time" parts, but that's usually explained by them getting fucked up right before. But most of it, it's everyone coming at him the most they can, and him taking a beating for it. He winds up winning with skill, but not before getting his ass beat a fair amount himself lol.

No background music being played during the fight describes the purity of this scene. This was incredibly phenomenal.
I remember when my friends and I saw this movie we were disappointed when Hutch got thrown out of the bus thinking he lost and how it ended so anti-climacticly but when he limped and reboarded the bus we legit threw popcorn screaming. So hype

Immediately became one of the most iconic fight scenes in movie history.

Holy Shit, the look on their faces when he walks back in after being thrown through the window. They went from being the baddest dudes on the block to shell-shocked victims in only 3 minutes

Crazy how he just manages to keep going. For a moment it looks like he’s exhausted and he’s gonna get overpowered but he actually manages to keep getting back up.

How he goes to town with that knife when he goes back in is the most brutal thing ever and exactly why good instructors warn you to stay out of knife fights - you'll get stabbed left and right.

As an actual city bus driver, this was incredibly satisfying to watch.

What I like about this scene is that he doesn't walk away fully unscathed, he gets thrown out of a window ffs. There aren't many pieces of media that show their main characters just, fucking up, for no real good reason.

Love this scene! In 7 minutes it shows how willing but rusty he is at the start of the fight then finds his stride by the time he climbs back on the bus for round two...great directing!

I really love how well his actions telegraph what's going through his mind in this scene, so that we can see the series of steps he takes in his head from "sick of this nonsense but out of practice" to "alright now I'm warmed up, let's fight for real" and finally on to "you lost your chance when you pulled out weapons, it's time to play for keeps." Guy was just trying to protect the girl and give them a proper beating, and you can pinpoint the exact moment when he realizes he's going to have to seriously injure these thugs to get them to stay down.

This film is awesome, I can't stop watching it.

Wow this was probably one of the most realistic scenes I have ever seen. Well done!

He's not just a good lawyer but a good fighter and surgeon as well.

Just a ridiculously good fight scene - it instantly goes into the pantheon of unforgettable fight scenes with the likes of the Old Boy hallway fight and the They Live alley fight.
