That's made of pure muscles and can move like a squid buddy he was screwed the second it grabbed him and it could of done just about anything it wanted to his hand right there
@@amauryrosario9439I mean yeah, it’s still small. Even though it’s made of pure muscle, doesn’t mean it’s insanely strong yet. Just relative to its size it is
Spoiler Alert: They brought it to Earth. It escaped to the bottom of the ocean called Bikini Bottom and now is Best friends with an annoying Sponge. You're welcome. Movie name:Life before bikini bottom
This was the one Horror movie that I saw when I was a kid that gave me nightmares for an entire week, up until today it still gives me the creeps of how terrifying the movie is.
This is why you don’t electrocute Alien organisms that show an ability to rapidly grow. Like it’s first encounter after achieving sensory organs is being shocked awake by some jolly green giant
If I remember correctly, the thing like, passed out or something? So they shocked it to try and wake it up. I watched this movie when I was like 8, so I don’t remember.
@@TheBiggestDummy it was relatively friendly when it first touched the hand, but after growing rapidly after consuming nutrient in the air it decided to sleep, which makes sense, growing and rapidly metabolizing food will make you sleepy, just look at young kids after thanksgiving. Imagine being that young kid, and the adults hit you with a taser to make sure you were alive after slumping on the couch after eating so much in one sitting.
@@henrybradford3648 Biological containment protocols. Those are a thing you know? And in this case, they should have entered a secure connection with mission control and requested the exact procedures for dealing with a potentially harmful alien life form. Like, avoid testing it in an unsuitable container and avoid direct contact with it and endangering YOUR FUCKING HANDS. That container wasn't made to be used with a scenario like that in mind and they avoid shocking something with a potential avenue to fight back. But honestly, if they wanted to shock it, then do it on Earth, in a SCP foundation like site, underground and with a nuke ready to go off in case of containment breach. And considering what happens in the movie, it was completely warranted. All that or they have ejected the compromised lab in main team
@@henrybradford3648 did you watch the movie? Stop having characters make horrible decisions over and over to advance a plot. It not 'smart', it's common sense
@@Gio98artwell a molotov is one of the best ways to deal with a biological threat and a nuke is a mini sun basically giga buffed molotov so it would probably die
For the people wondering, the movie is called "life" and it's so cool, also that's an alien from Mars and he became aggressive only because the scientist tased him as he(the alien) was scared and asleep, he later crushed the guy's hand and started to consume the whole team while getting bigger and bigger. 10/10 recommended
"Relax" was probably the best advice. I think any struggle would be taken as aggression. Unfortunately, at that stage I don't think it mattered too much. One way or another, time was up.
I'd argue the opposite: it looks like it's trying to wrap or constrict his hand. If you look at how a snake (constrictors, like Boas or others) work, they slightly tighten every time you relax, breathe out, or tire out Relaxing your hand would give it more opportunity to squeeze your hand in its now-loose position, and you won't be able to make a fist again. You're just clamped. But ofc this is a fictional alien so who tf knows lmao. Just a fun thing to think about
@@lampario2862 this isn't a boa constrictor though, or any sort of snake for that matter, so I'd be very sceptical of looking at Calvin as though it were. What we know is that it is made entirely out of brain _and_ muscle, it has intelligence, and it has perceived previous actions/movements as a threat to itself that it is subsequently reacting badly to. There is no way it's going to release him easy either way, but I'd say his best chance for something made of pure muscle with the ability to think on the level Calvin was apparently able to is to appear as non-threatening as possible if possible lol
i like thatthe alien wasnt naturally just kill happy. it was perfectly content to sit there and see what was going on, then something happened that startles it or hurts it by accident or someone being scared and it goes into nstant kill mode
The movie is called LIFE and if a a highly intelligent rapidly growing hostile life form on a ship interests you, then this movie is for you. Like it gets big asf Edit: 16k is a record ngl
Thanks to this guy alot happened. Now the creators were saying at first this was the first Symbiote for the Sony universe, but I believe that idea died out. If you wanna watch the movie it’s called life.
I’ve always had a theory that the alien isn’t naturally aggressive. It’s intelligent but doesn’t understand human survival so it takes that shock and interprets it as humans are threatening. It did the same thing to the rat, it pet the rat until it tried to bite it. It was simply vibing until something startled it
Had the same thought process until I realised that it probably needs to consume flesh and would only have been easy peasy up to the point it gets cravings.
@@SirFunky Actually it is. You can get 165 easily from emotional distress. A normal healthy adult gets to about 220 by running a mile. This info is also completely useless because they can't act on it in any way.
Yeah but iirc there was an accident in that pod/section and the thing was affected to where they thought it was dead because it was unresponsive. The shock was supposed to be like a defibrillator, just enough to get its life signs back.
@@TheDinohunter2000 Yeah. 🤦🏽♂️ There's so much dumb crap that's done in movies for the reason of "plot" that it's a genuine treat anytime common sense is displayed. Like that Army Of The Dead movie when the soldiers are transporting that super dangerous zombie and the entire time, out of the entire convoy of supposed "soldiers", every one of those soldiers act like a backwater turd with turds for brains. I could not, in good conscience, enjoy the movie at all after that. It was that bad. For me, anyway.
The scene where the alien goes down Ryan Reynolds characters throat then proceeds to completely eviscerate his insides is absolutely terrifying. There isn't even any blood or gore till the very end but the sound effects combined with the facial expressions he was making haunt me to this day.
@@Totallytherealkitthow is is that our problem? I doubt you would have even known about this movie if it weren't for this short. And let's be honest here? You were never going to watch it.
